Overview
About this tour
This is the comfort version of our North route. You follow the line of the first ascent through places with historic names — Emmanuel Glade and Lenz Rocks — to the East summit of Elbrus, 5,621 m. There is no cable car on this side, so the climb is entirely on foot: an honest ascent, but one you make from a proper base.
Instead of tents you live in mountain cabins with beds and the chance of a hot shower, and you eat in a canteen where professional chefs cook. There is electricity and Wi-Fi, and mobile signal from mid-June to the end of August, though it can be patchy. A wood-fired banya can be arranged for an extra fee.
The 10-day programme is the same sound acclimatisation schedule as on the tent version: outings to the Stone Mushrooms and the assault camp at 3,800 m, a main acclimatisation day to Lenz Rocks at about 5,000 m, a rest day, the summit push and two reserve days. If you want to lighten the load, porters can be booked to carry your things up to the upper assault camp, and oxygen equipment can be rented at our office.
- Stand on the East summit of Elbrus, 5,621 m, by the route of the first ascent — all on foot
- Sleep in mountain cabins with beds instead of tents, with hot showers on offer
- Three meals a day of fresh food, cooked by professional chefs
- Electricity and Wi-Fi at camp; optional wood-fired banya, porters and oxygen-kit rental
- Step-by-step acclimatisation to Lenz Rocks at about 5,000 m, a rest day and two reserve days
- 1 guide per 4 climbers, with oxygen equipment, satellite phone and daily pulse-oximeter checks

FAQ
Good to know
How do I get to the start?
Fly into Mineralnye Vody (MRV). Our Pyatigorsk office (Lenin Square 13, Intourist Hotel) is 27 km from the airport — about 25 minutes by taxi. You can arrive the day before, when the office receives participants from 08:00 to 18:00 for gear checks and rental, or on the morning of day 1 between 08:00 and 10:00. A private pick-up at Mineralnye Vody airport or station is included in Premium.
Where do I stay in Pyatigorsk?
Accommodation in Pyatigorsk is not included. Hostels (roughly €5–10 a night), hotels and apartments are all close to our office, and we can help you find something suitable. You can leave spare luggage at the office while you are on the mountain — storage is included in Premium, or about €5 otherwise.
What does the Premium package add?
Premium costs about €200 more than Basic (the lodging and meals are already in Basic) and adds: a 30% discount on equipment and clothing rental; the official Russian Mountaineering Federation (FAR) "For climbing Elbrus" badge and a climber's logbook entry if you reach the summit (each about €10); a private pick-up from Mineralnye Vody airport or station to our office (≈ €10); a private transfer back at the end (≈ €10); and luggage storage during the tour (≈ €5).
Can I make the climb easier?
Yes. For an extra fee you can book porters to carry your things up to the upper assault camp, and you can rent oxygen equipment at our Pyatigorsk office. A wood-fired banya at camp can also be arranged for an extra fee. The programme itself still has you climbing on foot.
How do I reserve a place?
Pay the booking fee (≈ €300 for Basic, ≈ €400 for Premium) to reserve your place and lock in the price, or pay for the tour in full. You can switch from Basic to Premium later; the Premium price is calculated at the time you ask.
